Weatherstripping

Screwed frame

• All of our door frames are assembled with screws, giving them significantly greater rigidity than a stapled frame.
• Each corner has four anchor points, three 2½” screws and one 3½” screw.

Hinges

• Our ball-bearing hinges are available in two qualities:
• - Standard
• - Commercial for the Plus door, where the hinge is larger and stronger.

Sweep

• The weatherstripping along the bottom edge of the door is height adjustable thanks to screw slots concealed beneath a finishing strip.
• Weatherstrips are black to prevent yellowing caused by the sun and to hide dirt from outdoor pollutants.

Thresholds

• Grey extruded anodized aluminum (made in Quebec), reinforced with wood and a PVC thermal barrier (black or white).
• The grey threshold is standard and the black is optional.

Thermal moulding

• White PVC colonial or contemporary moulding included.
• Optional colonial or contemporary aluminum moulding (mandatory if painted and outside).
